So much that today is going to be a rest day. Which suits me just fine since I have a few to-do's around the house.
I have been aiming to take a BodyPump class at the gym for weeks now, but have never been available at the time they're scheduled or was semi-training for the half marathon. Tomorrow I had planned to do a BodyPump class at the gym, but my first BodyPump will have to wait yet again as I need to get in a quick run or two before Sunday and stretch my legs as Mike and I are running a local 10K. I have only run three short 3-milers since the half marathon since my calves have been pretty sore.
Breakfast and lunch were the same today as this whole week.
Dinner tonight was pretty fabulous for my lonesome self. It was hard to drive home and not stop at the grocery considering today is "Pi day" (mmm key lime pie) and also "Steak and ___ day" (a favorite for guys and I do love a juicy steak!) Does anyone really "celebrate" these dates? I think they sound more like excuses.
Anyhow, I resisted and had a protein shake when I got home, and this was ready in right at 10 minutes.
Below is what I measured out to use for my single serving.
1/2 cup whole wheat rontini
1 cup spinach
1 diced half of a tomato or roma tomatoes or any kind would work
1 tilapia filet
Sprinkle of feta cheese
Italian seasoning, garlic powder, black pepper
I added a little dash of balsamic vinegar to add a little bite. Delicious!
On a side note.... Claire has decided she is terrified of the vacuum.
