Introducing.... #goalgetter2013!!

If you've been following me on Facebook or Twitter, I have been not so vaguely alluding to a big announcement coming up for a few days now.

When our group of ladies put together the #HOLIDAYADAY challenge last November, we had the intention of gaining a few new followers, post lots of pictures throughout the month of December, but most of all to have FUN.

What happened next blew us all away!! Almost 6,200 pictures were posted with the #HOLIDAYDAY hashtag throughout the month! I had a great time stalking everyone's pictures and gaining new friends through Instagram, which led to new Twitter friends too, and to their blogs. All 8 of us had the same happy responses.There were even those new friends that we got to know a bit about and my heart really went out to them when their days' picture showed that it wasn't going how they'd of hoped.

Needless to say, we were all floored with the awesome participation! We heard the calling and decided to why stop with just December? Although there are a lot of other "photo-a-day" challenges out there, we wanted to do something a little bit different.

Here is what we came up with!

#GoalGetter2013 is only a "one photo a month challenge" designed to help keep you accountable for the goals you want to achieve in 2013. I know most of us set resolutions or goals on January 1st and so many of us end up bailing before we know it. The cure? Accountability and support of course!

What you do is declare a goal each month and then snap a picture of you working towards your goal. This can be goals that you've already shared with us through your New Years' posts or tweets/statuses. We just want to help you reach them!

If you need an example, say for January your goal is to eat healthier. At some time through out the month of January, simply snap a picture of you eating veggies, or making better meal choices. Make sure to post that picture on January 31st. Want to be a faster runner? Snap a picture after you've put down an amazing time on your run. Same thing.

Sounds easy enough, right?

Also, don't be shy!!! If you'd like to post multiple pictures through out the month - GO FOR IT. We are all here to help you and I would love to see them!

Throughout the year we’ll be checking in on your #GoalGetter2013 progress. We’ll be sending out progress updates through newsletters and even be announcing a surprise giveaway or two so make sure to follow us via our blogs and on Instagram, too.

3. Set those goals and get to work! And of course, don't forget to post those pictures on the last day of the month!
